E-Bike Boschendal Ride
This e-bike tour is for those who want to spend an active outdoor day, either with friends or family. Cycle from Stellenbosch to Boschendal via the newly build Idas Valley and Banhoek Conservancy trails with our guide. Enjoy a meal or wine tasting at Boschendal (own account) before our bus takes us back to Stellenbosch.
This tour is family friendly and kids above 140cm in height can ride our bikes. Riders however need to have intermediate mountain biking skills to do the tour as there are some sandy and rocky sections along the mountain bike trails in the conservancy!
Only a general fitness level is required as the E-bikes assist with the hills. Activity level 2/5
Departs at 9:00 from AdventureShop’s offices at 1 Noordwal-Wes Str, Stellenbosch.
We are trying to cut down on plastic use, please bring your own water bottle. It can be filled at our offices and along the route

Vine Hopper Wine Tour
The Vine Hopper is the only way to experience the Stellenbosch wine Route by hopping on anywhere and hopping off any time on our
route!
The Vine Hopper has 3 routes with each of the routes visiting 5-6 very different wine estates in the Stellenbosch region. The farms all have
their unique styles and attractions that can be enjoyed while being on the Vine Hopper route.
Southern Route
Departs Tuesday, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays
Departure times from Stellenbosch: 8:45, 9:30, 11:00, 12:30 13:50, 14:50

Some of the highlights of the Southern route include great wines at famous Neethlingshof, enjoying a Brandy Tasting
tour at the Van Ryn Brandy Distillery where the cooper shows off his ancient art of barrel making, different pairings
available at Spier, or go pet an Eagle at Spier Eagle encounters. Relax with amazing views at Haskell wines or a red
wine and port tasting at Alto. Kleine Zalze is always a great way to end the day with a delicious wine tasting overlooking
the Stellenbosch Mountain
Northern Route:
Departs Monday, Wednesday and Friday
Departure times from Stellenbosch : 9:45, 10:50, 12:10, 13:20, 14:30

On the Northern Route you could visit Beyerskloof, the home of Pinotage. Then visit Simonsig with its great wine and
Cuvee Restaurant, Warwick is a fantastic place for a picnic or Big 5 Wine safari. Delheim will spoil you with hospitality
and good wine while Remhoogte and L’Avenir enchant with beautiful Scenery and lovely wines to be remembered.
Eastern Route:
Departs: Monday to Friday
Departure times from Stellenbosch: 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 14:00, 15:00

The Eastern Route wine tour showcases some of the best wines and views Stellenbosch has to offer. Experience the
splendour of the Helshoogte pass and it’s wine farms on this tour. Start your day with a unique Chocolate and wine
pairing at Lanzerac, Enjoy great restaurants at Le Pommier, Zorgvliet and Boschendal. Combine your wine tasting with
a meat and cheese platter at Neil Ellis wines. Fantastic scenery from the pass, and lovely relaxed settings make this a
must do route.
The Vine Hopper day ticket is the most cost effective way to experience the Stellenbosch Wine Route. You can decide
on what you want to do on the different farms and pay for tastings, tours or activities as you go along.
This is a great way to still be independent and not linked to a group but having the comfort of being transported,
enabling you to enjoy your tastings at your own time without worries of how you are getting home!
