• Guests 12 and older considered adults.

General – Pets:

• Pets allowed but limited to dogs smaller than knee height.
• Notify reservations agent if traveling with a pet for necessary arrangements.
• Pets stay at their own risk, must be supervised in public areas.
• Estate not liable for vet expenses, injuries, or accidents involving pets.
• Estate not liable for pet loss beyond estate borders.
• Costs for pet search or recovery billed after the stay.
• Additional charges for cleaning or damages may apply.

Reservations:

• Written confirmation is necessary within 7 days of reservation; otherwise, Taaibosch reserves the right to cancel the booking.
• A 30% non-refundable deposit for accommodation is due within 7 days after receiving confirmation.
• The full balance of accommodation is payable 30 days before the arrival date.
• A minimum stay of 2 nights applies throughout the year.
• During peak seasons, a minimum stay of 7 nights is required.

Payment Terms:

• The rates are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and do not include any Bank Charges or Foreign Currency Conversion fees.
• 50% Deposit must be paid in order to secure the reservation within 14 days of receiving this email.
• Failing to do so, Taaibosch reserves the right to cancel the reservation.
• The full balance of accommodation is payable 30 days prior to arrival date.
• All reservations and amendments must be confirmed to the property in writing.
• Children of all ages welcome.

Cancellation Policy:

• The full accommodation account is payable if cancellations are made within 30 days of date of arrival.
• In the event of premature departure, the full duration of the stay, as originally booked and confirmed will apply.
• The cancellation policy also applies to confirmed bookings that reduce their length of stay. The above cancellation will apply on the released night/s.
• Refunds of deposits / prepayments for bookings are at the discretion of management and are dependent on the ability to re-sell the villa.
• At the discretion of management, guests that have paid a deposit upfront / have prepaid for bookings and need to cancel due to a COVID-related travel restriction, will be able to postpone their visit for up to 12 months. COVID-related restrictions include government-imposed lockdowns, flight cancellations, guest restricted from boarding a flight, guest falls ill with COVID and is unable to travel.
• Cancellations must be received in writing.
• We recommend that travel insurance is taken in order to assist with the above cancellation penalties.

House Rules:

• Use designated bedrooms; do not sleep on living room couches.
• Handle linen and towels with care; guests are liable for damage.
• Bring outdoor cushions inside when it rains.
• Do not rearrange the furniture.
• Keep the pool cleaner in the pool.
• Close and secure umbrellas in strong winds.
• Guests are liable for any damaged or lost items, including cutlery, crockery, and furniture.
• No smoking inside; dispose of cigarette butts in designated bins.
• Do not litter; this is an organic farm.
• Parties exceeding villa occupancy require prior written consent.
• Lower music volume by 23:00 to avoid disrupting others.
• Guests will be charged for any extensive cleaning required.
• Do not remove bathroom amenities; guests will be charged for missing items.
• Leave keys in the house on departure; guests will be charged for unreturned keys or remotes.
